Walter Robert Stringer Obituary

Walter Robert Stringer, age 95 of Oneida, TN, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at his home. Born September 9, 1926, he was the son of the late Jesse and Lexie Stringer. Robert was a member of the Big Ridge Road Missionary Baptist Church; and a WWII Army Veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Evelyn Stringer; 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

Robert is survived by his daughter: Wanda Stringer; sons: Danny (Brenda), and Mike (Kelly); granddaughters: Madison (Triston), and Kaitlyn (Dalton); grandsons: Tyler and Christopher; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chambers Family Cemetery in the Buffalo Community with full Military Honors conducted by the American Legion Post #136 of Oneida.
