Wanda Loretta Jeffers Miller, age 71, of Oneida, Tennessee, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord on November 30, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Loretta lived a life defined by faith, kindness, and an unwavering love for the people around her.
Born in Oneida, TN, on August 24, 1954, to Walteen and Odis Jeffers, Loretta spent much of her childhood in Indianapolis, IN. She shared a special bond with her Granny Bea, who taught her the importance of family, faith, and serving the Lord—values that shaped every part of her life.
Loretta shared 48 beautiful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Bill. Together, they built a home filled with faith, laughter, and love. She was the cherished mother of Christy and William Odis “Billy” Miller (Lori).
One of her greatest joys in life was being “Memaw” to her five treasured grandchildren—Kaylee and Madison Gibson, and Wyatt, Rook, and Salem Miller—and to her great-granddaughter, Kacey Tomlinson. Her love for them was immeasurable and unconditional.
Loretta is also survived by her brothers, Charles Odis Jeffers and Dwight Wayne Jeffers, whom she loved dearly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Walter and Beatrice Gunther and Arvil and Lassie Jeffers; one niece, Heather Marie Jeffers; and her sister-in-law, Sue Jeffers.
Loretta will forever be remembered as a sweet, kind, and Godly woman—someone whose love, gentleness, and compassion were truly a gift to all who knew her.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to her special cousin Dewayne and Melissa Overton, Courtney Couch, Tianne Harness with Quality Hospice Care, Lori Weathers and the staff at Grace Primary Care, and Dr. Hanna and the staff at the UT Cancer Center for the love, support, and exceptional care they showed Loretta.
