William (Bill) Allen Ellis, Sr.

William (Bill) Allen Ellis, Sr., age 62 of Robbins, TN passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. Born in Scott County, TN on October 18, 1956, he was the son of the late Bobby Wayne Ellis, Sr. and Margaret Massey Ellis.

Bill is survived by his wife, Gracie Ellis; daughter, Jessica Byrd and husband Trent; son, William Ellis, Jr. and wife Tequila; grandson, Rieley King; granddaughters, Farrah Ellis, MaKenzie Ellis and Emma Ellis; brothers, Bobby Ellis, Jr. and SueAnn, David Ellis and wife Elaine and Michael Ellis and wife Joyce; and many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Ellis family on Friday, July 26, 2019 from 5 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 8 p.m. at the United Methodist Church of Oneida with Rev. David Gass and Rev. Tom Robins officiating. Music will be provided by Teresa and Larry Simpson.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 2 p.m. at the Hawn and Shoemaker Cemetery in Robbins. Pallbearers will be: Josh Kimbrell, Marcus Simpson, Adam Ellis, Alex Ellis, David Ellis, Jr. and Eric Ellis. Honorary pallbearers will be: Ethan Shoemaker, Alan Shoemaker, Mark Simpson and Carl Smith.
