Wilma Sexton King

Wilma Sexton King, age 71 of Oneida, TN passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022, at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida, TN. Born in Scott County, TN on March 27, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Marley and Hattie Sexton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James Sexton and wife Mary Katherine, Eddie Sexton and wife Shella Kay, and Wayne Sexton; sisters, Sheila May Trammell and Kaye Chitwood; brothers-in-law, Charlie Acres, Allen King and wife Odessa, and Kenneth King; sister-in-law, Thelma King; father-in-law, John Henry King; mother-in-law, Nova King; nephews, Mitchell Sexton and Chris Sexton; grandson, Taven Dwight King; and best friend, Dru Roysden.

Wilma is survived by her husband, Arthur King; sons, Jim King and wife Jamie, Josh King and wife Tiffany; brothers, George Sexton and wife Sheila, Ervin Sexton and wife Kathy, Steve Sexton and wife Missy, and Tim Sexton and wife Lora; sister, Carrie Lynn Acres; brother-in-law, Bill King and wife Lushia; sisters-in-law, Jenny Erwin and Deanie McGravity and husband Dan; grandkids, Jesse King and wife Lakota, Malachi King, Rieley King, Jude King, Harley King; great grandkids, Cora Jade King and Ella Faith King; best friend, Missy Foster; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the King family on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from 12 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Boyatt and Bro. Bradley Kidd officiating. Music will be provided by Ryan Sexton and Jacob Burke.

Committal service will follow in the Scott Memorial Gardens in Oneida. Pallbearers will be: Anthony Sexton, Jerremy Sexton, Ryan Sexton, Adrian Sexton, Caleb Sexton, and Dakota Sexton.
