Winnie Ruth (Marcum) Justice

Muncie, Indiana  - Winnie Ruth (Marcum) Justice, age 79, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2023. She was born on May 21, 1944, in Oneida, Tennessee, to Woodrow and Dorothy Burke Marcum.

Winnie Ruth was the sweetest and kindest soul. She had a deep love for her family and cherished spending time with them. Winnie Ruth enjoyed going to church and had a strong faith. She also loved shopping at flea markets and finding unique treasures. Her dogs held a special place in her heart and were like her babies.

She is survived by her son, Charles Ladd, and his wife Lori Ladd; her brother, Burkey Lee Marcum, and his wife Ada Marcum; her grandson, Gregory Couch, and his wife Laura Couch; her granddaughter Brittany Ladd, and her fiancé Skyler Sipes; her special cousin Mearl Marcum; and her great-grandchildren: Cayden Ladd, Greyson Couch, Rhylynn Sipes, Jax Sipes, and Stella Couch. Winnie Ruth also leaves behind many cousins and special relatives.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Marion Ezra, Willard Ray, Franklin D., and Eullen Milford Marcum; her granddaughter Rebecca Gill; her parents Woodrow and Dorothy Burke Marcum; and her sister Kizzy Lou Sharp.

A private service was held at Jones and Sons Funeral Home in Oneida, Tennessee.

Winnie Ruth (Marcum) Justice will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
